And my lifestyle changed since I went to the city to study. It was a totally different world and now I am in a fast pace surrounding, I missed my hometown so much. In my terrace, I decorated it with the Provence rug, the morning side area rug and the Dante rug. Now my place looks very much like a country home. I am home away from home.

I was looking for our basement key and I can’t seem to find it. I have looked all over the place. But there is one room left unturned. It was my brothers room. Never once have I been away in our home for more than a week. Now though I will not be permanently gone, still I will have a fewer times to spend with my parents. But I think they will be fine, because the house is theirs and they don’t need to worry about mortgage and loan payables. Now all I need to do is sign up some documents and my home loan will be on it’s way towards a new tomorrow for me as a married man.

My genes came from two different worlds. My mom came from the countryside, with a foyer overlooking a lake, a mountain about a few kilometers away from our vegetable garden. When we received the letter from the university that she passed the qualifying exam, we were so happy I couldn’t contain myself. She flew to France leaving us with a promise that she would do good in the university and when the day she will come back home, she will be offering her diploma to us.
